ahh, paris.

one of the most grueling days of my life today. spent the entire day battling the effects of staying up until the wee hours of the morning drinking with the brits. there's nothing more exciting than boarding an international flight with the exciting prospect of diarrhea contantly causing you to break out in cold sweats. i don't know if i spoke more than 3 words at once the entire day. absolutely brutal.

once we got to our hotel and took a quick nap everything turned around. check out the first thing i saw upon waking up, the view from our hotel room....

after that we took the world's smallest elevator, yes, literally half the size of the mini-lifts in barcelona downstairs and cruised around for a bit. we ate dinner a cool little cafe where the waiter was disgusted at our attempts at ordering, much like the cab driver who nearly kicked us out his cab for improperly pronouncing the name of our hotel. i don't get that whole the french are rude and pretentious stereotype at all....

got to see notre dame at night, amazing! and the eiffel tower from a distance. pretty cool overall, but called it an early night to catch up on some rest.
